Dear Members and Guests,

It is a pleasure to have this first electronic to update you on the Resort and the intention is to do one of these updates at least every two (2) months. Because this is the first one, it may contain some  information known to those who have visited the Resort over the last 12 months so please bear with us as we recap some information. First of all, for those who could not make it during the course of 2005, we were able to complete the following projects:
• We slightly extended the former Deli and the area is now used for the relocated Gym with two new treadmills and an exercise bike;
• The hallways Phase 1 were re-carpeted with a row of tiles on the side of the corridors to handle the condensation of the corridor walls;
• We completed a mildew treatment of all the rooms and corridors of Phase 1. To control this situation, we will continue this treatment periodically and also plan to start with Phase 2;
• We painted the exterior of the building;
• We re-surfaced both pools.
• We re-painted the Pool Bar to make it more colorful and Caribbean in flavor;
• We installed more "chickees" (thatched huts) around the pool deck and on the beach;
• We upgraded the emergency system Phase 2;
• Late in the year, we replaced the central air-conditioning system of Phase 1;
• We started the room renovations in Phase 1 since we have to replace the appliances;
