2005 IN REVIEW

CAPITAL PROJECTS COMPLETED
1. Painted the exterior of the building;
2. Recovered both pools;
3. Changed the hallway carpets in Phase 1;
4. Did a mildew treatment of Phase 1 and started in Phase 2;
5. Started the room renovations project in Phase 1 and completed rooms #104, #106 and # 108;
6. We placed six (6) additional chickees on the beach and four (4) around the pool deck.
It has been reported that some inconsiderate members have been reserving these chickees for extended hours and this unfair practice will not be tolerated. You are reminded that all chickees are on a “first-come first-used basis” and any reserved chickees unoccupied for more that one (1) hour will be made available for use by other members. Any items left will be removed by Security or the beach staff – without liability to the Resort.
7. We purchased a new chiller (air-conditioning system) for Phase 1;
8. We upgraded the emergency alarm system in Phase 2.

EMPLOYEE RELATED NEWS
1. Willy (Panopio), our popular Beach and Pool supervisor was announced Employee of the Year. For his continued good work, Willy was also nominated for the AHATA Employee of the Year – a function organized by all the Resorts in the island.
2. Nelson (Rodriguez) at the Bar represented Paradise Beach Villas at the 2005 Balashi contest and won the first prize from 11 contestants with his drink “Tropical Balashi Splash”.
