Dear members,

I am delighted to update you on the following developments at the Resort.
• The installation of new chillers is complete in both Phases 1 and 2 so now we have a back up on each building. 
• We have signed the contract with the operators of the existing Beauty Salon to start their extended Spa services on October 1st in part of the space vacated by Royal Holiday.  Check them out on your next trip.
• Work on the sign at the main entrance is complete displaying not only the Resort’s name with the new logo but also all the Concessionaires at the Resort.
• The replacement of the elevator in Phase 2 is currently in progress and should be completed by the end of November.
• We have completed a wifi service intended for reception in the rooms to be supplied by the local telephone service Company – SETAR. We are fine-tuning the installation and for the members not traveling with their laptops, we will still have the Internet station in the lobby.
• The kitchen has been retiled.
• We have a hotel doctor on call and there are brochures in the rooms explaining the various services and costs.
• The room renovation project in Phase 2 continues.
• On the website we have a page - 15 year celebration - with a few pictures of the actual event.  Check it out.  Still working on the DVD so we can possibly sell it to interested members.
• We had elections on the island on September 25th and the AVP party which was in opposition was voted into power and they will start governing on November 1st 2009.
• Additional dehumidifiers have been ordered for more rooms in Phase 1; Pots and pans and utensils have been replaced and larger balcony tables have been ordered.
• We have been advised that because of the severe downturn in business, Le Petit Café at the Resort will close on November 30th 2009.  We are already looking at alternatives for the space.

Reminders:

• On the newsletter, at some point, in order to save on printing and mailing costs, we intend to have this information available only on the website.

• Please remember to pay your maintenance fees on time.  The deadline is December 31st.

• If you will not be using your week, PLEASE advise the Resort as we may be able to schedule maintenance etc while the room is empty.
