After a period of financial uncertainty and other challenges, Paradise Beach Villas reopened its operations on July 4th 1994 and so, is celebrating 15 years of existence under the reorganised banner of Bougainville Development N.V. This milestone was celebrated in a well-attended function held in the gardens of Paradise Beach Villas on Wednesday July 8th 2009 with members of the Resort, specially invited guests, business associates and employees.

Until April 2004, Mrs. Lee di Giovanni, as Managing Director, was the architect of the recovery and her sterling efforts were appreciated in her presence with the dedication of the Members Lounge in her honour and will now be called the Lee di Giovanni Lounge.

Three (3) members of staff - Esther Lacle, Bianca Ali and Florentino Tromp were also recognised for having completed 15 years of service to the Resort while four (4) others received awards for 10 and 5 years of employment at Paradise Beach Villas. These loyal employees were presented with a plaque, a certificate and an envelope.

Present Managing Directors Andy Osbourne and Freddy Albertus along with members of the Board Claire Bothwell, President, Fred Noemer, Gus Anglin and Dennis Hullmann were on hand for the evening’s festivities and offered a heartfelt “Thank You” to all who have been instrumental in assisting the Resort in its successes and looked forward to a continued bright future for the property.
