We
are delighted to be able to update you on the following developments at the
Resort.
We continue our
exterior signage around the property and the public areas;
We have started a
project to improve the entrance of the Resort;
We have installed
flat screen TV’s and DVD players in the living rooms;
There are new
curtains in Phase 1. Bedspreads to will follow shortly.
In an energy-saving
effort, the balcony lights are now on manual control;
In air-conditioning
news, we are looking to replace the chiller system of Phase 2 with one
that is much more energy efficient and we are continuing systematically
replacing the blowers, valves and installing digital thermostats in all
the suites. The latter is being done
on a priority basis and also when we have rooms vacant;
We are now working
in # 326 on a solution to the water problems we have mainly in Phase
2. If it works, we will then do the
same in the other affected rooms;
For additional shade
we have added some more chickees on the pool deck;
We have changed the
pool / Jacuzzi hours back to a 9 p.m. closure for the privacy of the first
floor residents of Phase 2.
Everyone continues to be negatively affected by the
effects of the constant increases in utility tariffs and indeed our financial
position in relation to our planned capital projects has had to be adjusted. In
this regard, we have installed energy-saving bulbs and water saving devices in
the faucets throughout the Resort and we ask your assistance as well. As a responsible Resort, we are also working
with a local private Company to involve ourselves in recycling activity on the
island.
