Dear
members,
We
sincerely trust you had a great Holiday and New Year Season and that
you also enjoyed the recent Easter break. At the Resort, we have
been very busy with the following Capital and other projects:
-
All
the rooms in Phase 1 have been completed.
-
The
furniture in the Tiki Bar and Restaurant has been replaced.
-
The
gas supply has been relocated and the compactor is now hidden from
plain view.
-
We
have a brand new BBQ area.
-
A
new office for the Food and Beverage Manager has been built close to
the Restaurant.
-
Drapes
and bedspreads have been ordered and we will start with Phase 1.
-
New
flat screen TV’s and DVD players have been ordered for the living
rooms of all rooms. Depending on our finances, we plan on a phased
basis to change the ones in the bedrooms as well.
We now have a cozy gathering at Nos Veranda on
Friday evenings. We invite you to check it out on your next visit.
Increased
airlift for Summer 2008:
-
Delta
Airlines recently
announced that it will be adding additional service to Aruba from
Atlanta with an overnight flight on Fridays and Saturdays starting
June 14th
2008 until August 17th
2008.
-
Spirit
Air also announced that
from May 1st
to September 1st,
they will be adding a mid-week Wednesday flight to Aruba from Fort
Lauderdale.
-
From
Europe, as of June 25th,
Arkefly
will add service to Aruba from Amsterdam every Wednesday.
