As we approach the end of another successful year, on behalf of the Board of Directors, management and staff, we would like to thank you for your continued support. During the course of the year, below is a list of the projects we were able to complete: -In Phase 1, the room renovation project is complete including the indoor hallways and stairwells, a new elevator and the replacement of the pool filters. -In the public areas, we redid the public bathrooms, the staff locker rooms, beautified the new Towel Hut and the surrounding area, completed the landscaping to the south of the Phase 2 pool with a shuffle board court and we built a brand new shaded BBQ area with two (2) grills. -The penthouse - # 425 - and the Administrative offices have been completely renovated and the Member Relations office is now conveniently located in the lobby. -In Food and Beverage, we have replaced some kitchen equipment, changed the dining room and bar furniture and a new Food and Beverage office is being built closer to the Tiki bar and Restaurant.
General upgrades include more fire extinguishers for greater safety, new lobby furniture, reupholstered cushions for all the counter stools and the dining room furniture and the air-conditioning system is being systematically revamped by changing the blowers, valves and installing new digital thermostats. Because of the nature of the work involved, this project is being done based on room availability For the coming year, we plan to continue the renovations based on the financial state of the Resort with the emphasis on the interior of the suites. Maintenance fee payment The due date for payment of your Maintenance Fee is December 31st 2007. Please make sure you pay on time to avoid penalties and to ensure the continued financial health of the Resort.
Energy Surcharge With the continuing increases in energy, effective January 1st 2008 it has become necessary for us to make adjustments to the energy surcharge which was $5 daily for all room categories. Studios remain at $5 daily; one-bedrooms will be $6 daily; two-bedrooms will be $7 daily and three-bedrooms will be $8 daily. Email addresses We would like to update the email contact information of our members and we therefore ask that you send your current email address to Bianca at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . We also request that you keep us updated on any changes you make to your email address so our information will always be current. Reminders -It is your responsibility to advise the Member Relations department in writing of your change of address and telephone numbers and proof of an acknowledgement is required. -To avoid confusion and possible disappointment, we request that you verify the dates of the week(s) you own since the actual dates will vary from year to year. -We ask you to continue to assist us in our energy conservation efforts by not using the air-conditioning unnecessarily, turning off lights when not needed, conservative use of water, only changing bath linen when necessary and any other ways that you feel would be useful. -Please advise the Resort if you will be using your week or not so we can schedule maintenance in the suite if it will be vacant. Non-smoking policy Smoking is only permitted on the room patios and in the open air. The odor of smoke gets into all areas of the suite - including the fabrics - creating an unhealthy environment for other occupants of the suites and the staff and we kindly ask for you cooperation in this regard. Season’s greetings We wish you a very blessed Holiday Season and look forward to seeing you in the New Year which we trust will be filled with lots of Good Health and positive experiences. |
