Dear members,
It is a pleasure to update you on
our new-look website which I hope you like.
The Resort was very busy for the
Summer Season but we are still focusing on our capital projects and I am
pleased to share the following information with you.
- -The room renovation program in Phase 1 continues.
- -The emergency system of Phase 1 is almost complete.
- -The outdoor Jacuzzis and the kiddy pool are being resurfaced
and should be completed by month end.
- -We are in the midst of the Front Desk renovation and
the Members’ Lounge is currently being used as the Front Desk. The
scheduled completion date is mid-September. We have also ordered new lobby
furniture.
- -We have made minor patching repairs to the damaged
area of the parking lots.
- -The new beach wall is complete and we will do some
landscaping in the area later in the year.
- -Also later this year will replace the elevator of
Phase 1. This project is scheduled to take about 6 weeks but it has to be
done because of the age of the existing elevator makes it difficult to
impossible to secure replacement parts and the constant resulting break
downs cause numerous problems for the members.
Next year we will focus on
getting into the units and start with our soft goods renovation program.
The maintenance fees have been mailed
so we encourage you to pay before the due date of December 31st.
A reminder that effective January
1st next year, passports will be needed for travel to Aruba. This requirement also includes children.
